    4. I could bend my thumb back to my wrist when I was a child, I remember taking great pride in freaking other people out. By the way, can't do it now. Can any of you do things that not everyone can do?

    2. Are there areas of your life that you try to be perfect? Are there things that seem to balance on you being your best or perfect?

    3. I really work hard at drawing my horses. Every year they change and every year I think they are perfect, but as years go by my horses get better then the last ones and my viewings of them being perfect changed.

    1. it might be a game or a slang saying from that time

    2. Oh, just looked it up. A mib is one of those big marbles that you throw or "shoot" at the other marbles in the game "Marbles". so, it is another way of saying playing marbles.

  11. Why do you think Jerry Spinelli wrote this book?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. To show what he did as a child, what it was like when he was kid. To explain his childhood to people but not just a bunch of facts written down on pieces of paper, but in a story that drives you into the story about him and his life.

      Delete
  12. Maybe he wrote it because he wanted to share what his life was like.
