We talked about sum things like how Ralph is brave and led a bunch of kids into Ale's woods and found a old shed and he grabbed three snakes in each hand and when they were leaving Ralph found mud puppies and went home and looked them up in every book he could find.
Why do you think Fletcher started to taste bark and dirt and things after Tommy went to the doctor? Why did the idea of trying to eat the world stay in his mind?
Have you ever tried to do something just for sheer challenge of doing something really difficult? How did it feel when you accomplished your goal? Did it matter what the purpose was?
What in the story makes you think that his dad is going to die the next morning? Do you think there might be another reason that it bothers him that his dad stopped kissing him goodnight?
he must be stupid to ask 2 girls that he doesn't even no where his brother is. I think Ralph is a little bit weird because he practices dying. I think he likes allot of games. Why do they like to play war so much. page 131 why did Ralph's dad want to clear out the woods. he likes baseball and so do I.
Why were the fluorescent bulbs significant/important? Why did Ralph still hold his breath when he ran by the place where they broke 6 years later? Was the air still poisonous there, or was he showing that he has deep memories of the neighborhood that he lived in? Why did he tell us about that particular memory?
because there are deep memories in this neighborhood and he is reminding his self of old memories so when he moves they can always rember this neighborhood.
AJW thought the bulbs were the ones that grow out of the ground but AJW read to fast they were florescent bulbs and if you brake them when there on they put out a poisonous gas.
