    1. Please add details on this blog. What connections did you find? Also can you give some details about the barfing and fireworks metaphor? Go ahead and quote the book to show your evidence.

  2. Marsh field Dreams (When I was a kid) by Ralph Fletcher. Date : 3/10. Pages : 95-131. My first connection is from the chapter War that is similar to a game a I play with Steven (My brother) and Sam (Steven and my friend) and sometimes some of my friends at school, play a game we called War which is the same name but there is different ways. We also 'die' like them, by falling on the ground. But when we die we count twenty seconds instead of sixty. Also instead of using sticks as guns we use Nerf guns and plastic weapons. Its really fun and we usually play it around the sides of my house, the front yard, the backyard, and in between, but we don't play it in the house. My next connection is that when Goldie dies pages 120-121 I feel the same as Tommy I don't wan't living thing to die it makes me unhappy. Those are my connections for now.

  3. In the book Marshfield Dreams I made a connection. The connection was that I know what its like to have the company of baby birds. Then my second connection with the book was that I also know what its like to own baby birds. Those were my connections and I wondered what frantic, cuter, and groggy means. That's all for now.

  4. Marsh Field Dreams (When I was a kid) by Ralph Fletcher. Date: 3/12. My first one is a connection and it is when there waiting for Jimmy and there Mom to come and they feel like its taking forever and I feel like that sometimes when I'm waiting for people. My next one is a reaction and it is when Larry Water's big sister cuts the chicken's head off and the chicken (without the head) is running around and I think its weird that its moving and it dies its just weird to me. Those are my connections for today.

    1. Me too. My Great-Grandmother raised chickens for food, and I remember her butting them for dinner. It never helped my appetite,

  6. Today when my partner and I met we discussed our questions, connections, and reactions. I only had questions to share. First, I was wondering why they were blaming a dog for killing the roosters? I mean there could also have been a cat involved. Second, I wondered why the kids parents leave the kids alone? I mean something bad could happen to the kids. Then last, I was wondering what the kid's dad mean by team? He doesn't play baseball or a sport. Those were my questions for the book.

  8. Marshfield Dreams: Today when my partner and I met we talked about the book. I had a connection and found 2 words that I liked. My connection was when Ralph (the child) was being buried by his friends and he said, "Hey! I'm not dead!" My sister did the same and was burring me and I said, "I'm not dead!" The two words I liked was, auld, and husky. That's what I have to say about my book.
